Tori Rathbone

Physiotherapist

Owner / Operator

Hi, I’m Tori! As a physiotherapist, my greatest joy is helping people like you get back to doing the things they love. Whether it’s running a marathon, playing with your kids, or simply enjoying a pain-free day, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I’ve always been passionate about movement and the incredible things our bodies can do. That’s why I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. Since graduating in 2020, I’ve continued to expand my skills through courses in post-concussion syndrome, Parkinson’s Disease, soft tissue release, dry needling, and orthopedic manual therapy. I’m a firm believer in lifelong learning, and I’m always exploring new ways to help my clients feel their best.

What I Do

My approach is all about you. I take the time to listen, understand your goals, and create a personalized plan that fits your life. I also believe in empowering you with knowledge—because when you understand your body, you can take an active role in your recovery.

A Little About Me

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll probably find me outdoors! I love running, hiking, camping, and biking, and I’m also an avid horseback rider and scuba diver. I’m a bit of a DIY enthusiast too—whether it’s woodworking projects or tending to my garden, I’m always up for a new challenge. These hobbies keep me active and remind me why movement is so important—it’s not just about function; it’s about living life to the fullest.

Judy Sturgeon

Physiotherapist

I have been practicing physiotherapy for 36 years. I love that our profession encourages continued learning.  I have had my own clinic in Chase since 1991, and have now decided to step back and let my daughter take charge. My area of focus is musculoskeletal conditions. I have enjoyed raising my family in the rural area of Shuswap Lake and continue to share my passion for education with my children as they experience their own journeys with university and chosen careers.  From 1998 to 2010 I assisted and instructed in the CPA Orthopaedic Division courses, as well I continue as a clinical preceptor affiliated with the UBC Masters in Physiotherapy program. In 2014 I completed my Masters in Clinical Science in Physiotherapy through Western Ontario University.

A Little About Me

I enjoy mountain biking, snow shoeing, and spending time with my Icelandic horses (pictured above at 4 months old).
